Freddie Academy Michigan is a proud extension of Freddie Academy Sweden, dedicated to developing the individual qualities of soccer players through a modern, international training approach. Our journey began in 2016 in Gothenburg, Sweden, when founders Fredrik Månsson and Ludvig Hördegård, during their time as collegiate soccer players in the United States, recognized the immense value of individual development within team sports. They saw that while team environments are essential, they often lack the time and focus needed to refine the specific skills required to reach the next level.

This realization became the foundation of Freddie Academy. That vision was brought to life in Sweden and has now expanded to the United States.

Freddie Academy Michigan was established through a partnership between Ludvig Hördegård and Lucas Hart, who met as teammates while playing in the NPSL in Minnesota in 2021. United by a shared passion for the game and a strong belief in the impact of individualized training, they set out to bring the Freddie Academy philosophy to Michigan.
